The Rotary
Club of New York
Fellow Rotarians,
The speaker at our next meeting on September 10th
will be Adi Roche, the founder of the Chernobyl Children’s Project. You can
read more about the interesting Chernobyl Children’s Project in the Bulletin at
www.nyrotary.org/Bulletin/bulletin091002.pdf.
Our
Executive Director Andreas Runggatscher wrote the latest Reporter of the Week
in the Bulletin with interesting information about the last meeting. Andreas
was born in the Italian Alps and came to our Rotary Club from the legendary
Metropolitan Club. I enjoyed reading Andreas’ description of the last meeting,
especially as I was out-of-town during the last meeting.
President Silvio Amori
together with New York Rotarians Josef Klee and Katsuhito Mattsubara are soon
going to celebrate their birthdays.
Happy Birthday to all of you! You can find out more about the birthdays
in the Bulletin.
The Bulletin also has
a picture of Board Member Giorgio Balestrieri from his visit to the Rotary Club
of Monza Ovest, which is located near the famous Italian Monza Race Track.
Don’t forget to reserve your table for our next meeting. You can
do so via e-mail to our office at ny.rotary@verizon.net, or call Andreas or Ana at
212-633-1311. You can also fax in
the RSVP form, which you can download at www.nyrotary.org/Bulletin/rsvp091002.pdf.
Our fax number is 212-633-1954. Princeton Club’s
culinary staff will serve Beef Bourguignon.
I recommend that you visit our New York Rotary
website every week at www.NYRotary.org.
Enjoy the Fellowship
of Rotary!
